Firewall???
Question by Ash: Firewall???
We have 2 personal connected by a crossover cable, which are both connected to a healthy modem. We are planning on buying a laptop soon, so we want to go wireless. We really need to beef up our firewall. What equipment should we purchase to implement a hardware firewall?
Thanks. I’m supposed to bedoing this for a school project but I had no clue! We’re supposed to list what hardware we should use and everything.

The router itself should be adequate as a firewall. Nobody is going to be healthy to get through it (they are designed to prevent that). You can always keep Windows Firewall running anyway. Adding any more will cause problems.
